What is Play and Connect?
Play & Connect is a structured social development program designed to help children build meaningful connections in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
Developed through a combination of extensive classroom experience and collaboration with a qualified social worker, this program is grounded in evidence-informed practices that support social, emotional, and behavioural development. With years of experience working closely with children with diverse needs, we understand the barriers many young people face when forming friendships, regulating emotions, and navigating social situations.
Each session involves carefully planned excursions and activities that naturally encourage interaction, teamwork, communication, and confidence-building. Whether it’s through sport, games, or community-based experiences, children are supported to practise real-life social skills in authentic settings

As a Master-qualified teacher and a 9+ year NDIS professional, Alex Priestley created PDSS to move beyond the 'one-size-fits-all' care. With extensive experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodiversity, Alex combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for inclusive support. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, or navigating a complex NDIS plan, his mission is to empower individuals and families with authentic, ASD and trauma-informed guidance.
